‘Vøringsfossen, Fall’ is one of a series of paintings inspired by the Hardanger region, known as the ‘kingdom of waterfalls’ in Norway. The painting depicts the Hardangervidda plateau, above the Måbødalen valley. The expressive brush marks and tall format celebrate the vastness of this amazing landscape.

‘Highest Mountain, Deepest Lake’ is a panoramaic landscape celebrating the majestic mountains surrounding Wasdale Head, a small hamlet in the Lake District. The title refers to the claim that the hamlet is ‘home to the highest mountain, deepest lake, smallest church, and biggest liar in England.’

‘Red Sea, Pink Foam’ is inspired by Pendeen; Cornwall’s dramatic and rugged Tin Coast. The painting depicts the vibrant pinks, reds, and oranges of the iron oxide in the cliffs surrounding Geevor and Levant Tin Mine.

Framed in light walnut veneer wood tray frame, 1cm wide x 4cm deep with a 5mm space.
